Kia unveiled customizable electric van concepts at a recent electronics show. The market for electric vans is growing due to the rise in deliveries and the need to reduce emissions. Other automakers like Rivian, Ford, General Motors, and Stellantis are already selling electric vans or planning to do so. Kia currently offers gasoline-powered family minivans but is now focusing on customizable commercial vans. Kia showcased three concept vehicles, including a medium-sized van called PV5 that can be quickly configured for different uses. The company also revealed a larger PV7 van and a smaller PV1 van designed for urban settings. Kia plans to produce the vans in South Korea and offer fleet management systems for commercial customers.
